Acta Paediatr Scand, 70:751,.–During the years 1976–78, infantile spasm was diagnosed in a total of 12 children. In 4 of these patients the diagnosis tuberous sclerosis was established with the aid of computed tomography (CT). The advantages of CT examination in children with infantile spasm is discussed, especially the possibility to detect tuberous sclerosis at an early stage.
