Legal provisions are enforced for EDS procedures in each passenger airport. They affect a significant effect on the final layout of the system BHS. The paper presents structural and functional analysis of the system.

The article presents the steps of modelling BHS systems at the passenger airports. The different solutions were proposed to the systems and conducted an analysis of their transport capacity. Also identified dependencies between the different zones of the system BHS and EDS system.

The paper presents techniques and technologies of baggage handling in passenger air transport services. It is very important logistics process for efficiency material flow as baggage which supports main passenger transport process. All of mechanism and means of transport used at airport have to be compatible with security and air transport law.
