Fusarium wilt is getting sever and damaging yield and quality of watermelon in the recent years.Calcium sulfate (gypsum powder)was tested for reducing the damage of Fusarium wilt of watermelon.The results showed that application of calcium sulfate was beneficial in managing watermelon Fusarium wilt.Improvements of stem diameter,vine length,leaf area,fruit weight and sugar content were observed with application of calcium sulfate.Application rate 30 kg of calcium sulfate per 667 m 2 is recommended.
