Speech is a signal which consisting of various complex information, like the information contain in a signal which to be communicate, language, speaker, region, emotions etc. Speech Processing is one of the important parts of signal processing and finds applications in Audio mining, Human computer interfaces, Assistive technologies, Telecommunication, Security etc. For the speaker identification and emotion analysis Gender Identification is a pre requites. By analyzing the features of different voice signals of male & female it can be determined that which parameters are creating a difference in between the male voice & female voice. For this a comparison between the different parameters present in a voice signal like energy, mean, median and standard deviation is done. It observed that in the graph of mean and standard deviation one can differentiate between a male voice and female as the statistical results are shown. In this paper an input voice signal taken as .wav file and added some noise or unwanted signal; the unwanted noise signals are removed from the original signal by reducing the intensities of high frequencies by averaging and Gaussian window for the smoothing and conv function to removing the pseudo numbers that added as a noise to the original signal
The third chapter, 'Justice and the Jungle: Contextualizing the Central Capabilities in Singalila and Senchal Landscapes', locates three capabilities in Martha Nussbaum's list in Singalila's Srikhola and Senchal's Rampuria. These include 'control over material and political environment' capability, 'practical reasoning' capability and 'affiliation' capability. The chapter assesses thresholds for these three capabilities and argues for their environmentally just application in stressful conservation contexts. The chapter seeks to substantiate the residents' own understanding of forests and also address the challenges of collective well-being that Nussbaum's framework of justice poses. It gauges justice and disparity by shifting focus from people and individuals to structures and institutions in the region.
Sen's theory of justice can be treated as a general rather than substantive framework here to analyze unjust social and institutional arrangements. His capabilities approach is under-specified and thus is applicable in a diversity of disciplinary and applied contexts. The second chapter, 'Sustainable Development as Freedom', employs Amartya Sen's capabilities approach in the context of Eastern Himalayan forest villages, specifically Singalila's Samanden and Senchal's Lalung. It grapples with the implications of forests becoming an evaluative context for capabilities and capabilities becoming an evaluative space within forests. The chapter compares actual livings and achievements and marks education and health deprivations in these two villages.
The Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is caused by the novel coronavirus belongs to the family Betacoronaviridae was first identified in Saudi Arabia during 2012. The first epidemic outbreak of the MERS-CoV has been started reporting in the South Korea and other Asian Countries. The disease was transmitted to humans to humans from the Middle East to other countries through travelling history. The MERS-CoV is responsible for the lower acute and severe respiratory disorder causes the shortness of breath along with fever and cough. The treatment for the disease is purely symptomatic and vaccination is not existed. In the present work we are tried to compile the epidemiology, pathogenesis, viral genome and currently available drugs. At the last the promising approaches for the drug design and development process has been presented.
