Main text A key comparison of the standards for air kerma and absorbed dose to water of seven participating laboratories was carried out in the 60 Co radiation beam, therapy level, during October 2021 to November 2022. Six of the participating laboratories are secondary standards laboratories (SSM, DSA, STUK, DTU, CIEMAT, and IAEA) and VSL is a primary standards laboratory and acted as a linking laboratory to respective BIPM key comparisons. The comparison results are published in the BIPM key comparison database (KCDB) under the reference EURAMET.RI(I)-K1.3 and EURAMET.RI(I)-K4.3. The comparison was made indirectly using three thimble-type ionization chambers as transfer instruments. A supplementary comparison has been made between the air-kerma standards of the NRPA (Norway), the STUK (Finland) the SSM (Sweden) and the LNE-LNHB (France) in the ISO 4037 narrow spectrum series in the range 40 kV to 300 kV. The technical protocol was approved by the CCRI(I) in April 2016. The results show the standards to be in agreement at the level of the standard uncertainty of 12, 14 and 8 parts in 10³ for the NRPA, the STUK and the SSM respectively. The results are analysed and presented in terms of degrees of equivalence. The Euromet.EM-S18 resistance comparison have been carried out between Danish Fundamental Metrology (DFM), Swedish National Testing and Research Institute (SP), Centre for Metrology and Accreditation in Finland (MIKES) and Justervesenet (JV) from May to November 2003. This was a comparison of the calibration of 1 Ω and 10 kΩ resistors performed with different measurement system. One conventional direct current comparator (DCC) resistance bridge and three cryogenic current comparator (CCC) resistance bridges were used in the comparison. The final results from the comparison will be presented at the conference.
This report presents the results of a comparison of measurements on four electronic DC reference standards performed by national metrology institutes in the EUROMET region and BIPM. The results of the comparison, in terms of degrees of equivalence, show that there is a good agreement between the measurement results of the participants. The results also show that the time-dependent fluctuations in the output voltages of the travelling standards provide one of the main sources of uncertainty. Main text. Various operational parameters of two different I-V binary programmable Josephson arrays are evaluated and compared within different Josephson array voltage standard (JAVS) set-ups at microwave frequencies around 70 GHz. For this purpose, the investigation of the electrical characteristics of a SINIS-type Josephson array and of an externally shunted SIS-type Josephson array is under way at ten national metrology institutes. The results of the measurements are presented and discussed.
Justervesenet (JV) have developed two set-ups for programmable Josephson arrays. One set-up for arrays operating up to 20 GHz and one for frequencies from 72.5 GHz to 76 GHz. The set-ups and results from the characterisation of three different programmable arrays of the intrinsically shunted SINIS type are presented. The arrays were a /spl sim/20 mV array with 512 junctions binary divided into 8 segments operating from 10 GHz to 20 GHz and two 1 volt arrays operating at 72.5 to 76 GHz with 8192 junctions binary divided into 14 and 6 segments. All arrays were manufactured by the Physicalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) in Germany.
