Due to the configuration of the high-power power pack, the diesel multiple unit(DMU) makes noise control more difficult than that of the electric multiple unit(EMU).In this paper, through the reasonable design and management of the noise control of a DMU,the noise indicators of the whole vehicle can meet the contract requirements.At the same time, the problem of excessive noise in toilets is analyzed in detail, and an optimized solution is developed.This solution is universal and can be applied to other EMU projects.
