In wireless sensor networks, energy efficiency is a crucial issue to prolong the networks lifetime, which led to a great challenge for MAC layer design of wireless sensor networks. Many researchers have proposed energy-saving MAC protocols. This paper introduces the energy efficient MAC protocols for wireless sensor networks, and studies on the non persistent CSMA schemes, three proposed protocols: S-MAC, T-MAC and DMAC are analyzed and compared in the paper, the-energy models show their energy efficient performance; and simulations on NS-2 are also offered at end of this paper.
In this paper, according to hierarchical mobile MPLS (H-MPLS) and mobile IP network based on hierarchical MPLS (MINHM), we propose an Effective Integration of hierarchical cellular and hierarchical mobile MPLS (EIHCHMM) that integrates the wireless cell and wired MPLS. The scheme is valuable because it decreases the end-to-end delay but it doesn't affect the throughput. The evaluation results show that the idea of EIHCHMM is correct
A great challenge of media access control design is brought by wireless sensor networks. Many schemes have been proposed, most of which are based on contention or TDMA. In this paper, we research on contention based MAC protocol for WSN, and present an advanced scheme with adjustable sleep mode based on T-MAC. The performance analysis show that the new scheme can further reduce the active time and the transmission latency
Reformative Hierarchical MPLS (RH-MPLS) and Adaptive Hierarchical Mobile MPLS Scheme (AHMMS) were proposed. According to RH-MPLS and AHMMS, a Dynamic Temporary Agent In Hierarchical Mobile MPLS (DTAHMM) was proposed. In AHMMS the key problem is the selection of LER in a H-MPLS domain. As the LSP in a domain usually includes at least two LER. Which LER is the most suitable is necessary to be discussed. So the paper proposed DTAHMM. The performance analysis shows that DTAHMM is somehow better than AHMMS.
With the development of IT industry, the reliability of software becomes more and more important, and the research of auto-testing tools has been a focus to global software industry. This paper introduces a structure of load testing software for multi-user computer system, describing the functions and features of the four models: recorder, virtual users generator, analysis and reporter. It offers the design of key models, as well as the scheme and principle of the key technology.
WSNs (wireless sensor networks) are often high-densely deployed and nodes are easy to fail. All these uncertainty preclude manual configuration and design-time pre-configuration. In the paper, MTLT (mixed type logical topology) is proposed, by which the whole sensor network is organized as mixed-type logical topology according to the local density and energy constraint. Simulation experiments proved that MTLT is a simple, robust and low-latency topology for different types of data dissemination in dense deployed WSNs.
Video over mobile telephone has a wide range of current and future potential applications. The integration of two new technologies, namely GPRS and MPEG4, makes it possible to transmit MPEG4 bit streams over GPRS Network. This paper presents the implementation details of MPEG4 coded video transmission over GPRS network. Mobile telephone is responsible for video data subsampling and is used as a player device. A testing result obtained after actual video transmission is presented in this paper. Based on the principium of RTP and the features of MPEG4 standard, we put forward a RTP payload format and a packetization algorithm for MPEG4 video, which achieves both efficiency and robustness. We present an end-to-end feedback congestion control scheme based on RTP/RTCP.
