Artykuł omawia skuteczność uczelnianych systemów zapewniania jakości kształcenia (USZJK) na kierunkach filologicznych z punktu widzenia Polskiej Komisji Akredytacyjnej (PKA). W oparciu o raporty PKA z lat 2020-2024 dokonano analizy ocen przyznawanych kierunkom filologicznym oraz porównano je z ocenami wystawianymi kierunkom niefilologicznym. Badanie wykazało, że filologie częściej uzyskują oceny negatywne, a przyznawane oceny pozytywne nierzadko mają charakter warunkowy (na dwa lata). Ponadto rezultaty wskazują na większe zróżnicowanie ocen w zależności od typu uczelni (publiczna wobec niepublicznej) i profilu studiów (praktyczny wobec ogólnoakademickiego). Szczególną uwagę poświęcono kryterium 10, dotyczącym skuteczności uczelnianych SZJK. Najsłabiej spełniane były standardy wymagające analiz danych, udziału interesariuszy zewnętrznych oraz wdrażania wniosków z ewaluacji. Artykuł podkreśla konieczność dalszego doskonalenia systemów zapewniania jakości, zwłaszcza w zakresie ograniczania nadmiernej biurokracji i usprawniania współpracy z otoczeniem społeczno-gospodarczym.
Economics and ethics are practical sciences. The common research subject of both sciences is man. Economics is looking for an answer to the question of how to manage in business life. Ethics looks for the answer to the question of how to live. Because man is a person, his value brings consequences for all areas of human activity. This also applies to the market. The market is one of the foundations of economic life and is a great good for people and societies. The market is defined in different ways. It is worth comprehensively describing what the market is, emphasizing its personal character. In economics, attention is paid to market failure, understood mostly as the ineffectiveness of management (deviation from the model market, which is perfectly competitive). The negative impact of the market on society is also identified. Although moral aspects are increasingly taken into account in the concept of market failure, there is no general theory that attempts to capture market in moral aspects. Therefore, it is worth asking whether such a theory is possible. The construction of the moral theory of market failure can be a reference point to the analysis of market practices and institutional conditions from an ethical point of view.

In this paper I try to justify necessity of developing economic sociology in social sciences. In doing so, I present economic sociology as a sub-discipline.The text draws on the interdisciplinary strengths of economic sociology. The core of the article are arguments why economic sociology may be helpful to understand economic life in better way than economics does. The sociological approach, which is different from the economic approach, may be very useful to better understanding economic mechanisms, which are in fact, social mechanisms. The motivations of writing this paper is to explain that using the sociological approach to economic topics has a great research potential and should be still developed. Some economists and sociologists assume that there are separate spheres: the first one is an arena for rational economic activity (the sphere of calculation and efficiency) and the second one, the sphere of sentiment and solidarity. This is an incorrect separation.Real economy consists not only of market-mediated transactions.Economic life is always social life in which human beings participate.Reducing human nature only to economic dimension is an anthropological mistake.

Markets in catholic social teaching 1. IntroductionCatholic social teaching addresses social, economic, political, and cultural issues. It exhibits both theoretical and practical aspects.Firstly, it formulates moral principles for social and economic life.Secondly, it elaborates on their practical application on ruling economic relationships and within a specified time.It means that Catholic social teaching has a moral character of teaching.Catholic social teaching isn't an ideology, "but rather the accurate formulation of the results of a careful reflection on the complex realities of human existence, in society and in the international order, in the light of faith and of the Church's tradition. Its main aim is to interpret these realities, determining their conformity with or divergence from the lines of the Gospel teaching on man and his vocation, a vocation which is at once earthly and transcendent; its aim is thus to guide Christian behaviour. It therefore belongs to the field, not of ideology, but of theology and particularly of moral theology" (John Paul II 1987, no.41).The most important source of Catholic social teaching are the Pope's statements (in particular, their social encyclicals) and documents of general councils.Encyclicals are directed to the entire Church and to people of goodwill.
