Ning 12 A,derived from the cross between Ning 94B and IR58025B,followed by selection of excellent single plants from its offspring and crossed with Gufeng A by test cross and successive backcross,is a WA-type CMS line of indica rice developed by Ningde Research Institute of Agricultural Sciences.It has the characteristics of excellent grain quality,good flowering habits,strong combining ability and stable male sterility.In 2017,the sterile line passed the field identification of Fujian Crop Variety Appraisal Committee,and passed the variety certification of Fujian Province in 2018.Ning 12 You 6169,Ning 12 You Huazhan,Ning 12 You 039,Ning 12 You 156 and other hybrid combinations derived from Ning 12A have passed the provincial variety certification.
