Since 1981, data obtained from industrial energy assessments performed as part of the U.S. Department of Energy Industrial Technologies Program's (ITP) Industrial Assessment Centers (IAC) have been collected and entered into a database, made available on the program website. Currently, the database contains information representing over 14,000 assessment site visits and 105,000 recommendations. As a result, the database contains a wealth of information related to the recommendations of Industrial Assessment Centers across the United States. This paper presents a statistical analysis of the database in an effort to establish a link between various fiscal and geographical factors and the implementation rates. Currently, the implementation rate of the IACs assessment recommendations is nearly 50%. The results of the statistical analysis show a link between nine factors and the implementation rates. The nine factors established in this paper will be used to construct a multivariable model for predicting the probability of implementation rates. NOMENCLATURE
