In today’s high competitive market there are so many reasons such as offered concession in bulk purchasing, high ordering quantity, seasonal demand and lead time, which force the retailer to buy more than its storage capacity. In these circumstances the retailer needs an extra space to store this extra ordered quantity known as rented warehouse. Here an inventory model has been developed for deteriorating items with time dependent demand, allowed shortages and partial backlogging with time value of money. The model is developed with two storage facility. The items are stored in rented warehouse only after the filling of owned warehouse. Numerical example and sensitivity analysis are also provided to illustrate the model.

A compact circularly polarized antenna having x-slot in the parasitic patches have been proposed in this article. Four driven patches which are capacitively loaded with the help of the feeding loop and four parasitic patches which generate circular polarization because of the sequentially rotated structures are noticed in the proposed modal. With combination of the CP mode with the feeding loop we can observe the broadened axial ratio bandwidth. Comparative analysis has been observed for each side facing driven elements and side and edge facing parasitic elements with X-slot have been observed. The proposed antenna works at the bands of 5.04-5.83GHz and 6.34-6. 81GHz which works for WLAN application. The proposed modal and its iterations have been analyzed using ANSYS EM Software. The results show an enhanced impedance bandwidth of 22 percent and axial ratio bandwidth of over 15percent has been noticed in the proposed modal. A constant gain has been noticed all over the analyzed modals.
Harmine, a tricyclic β-carboline alkaloid possesses anticancer properties. Thus, its binding studies with DNA are considerably important because mechanism of action of anticancer drug involves DNA binding. On the other hand, the DNA binding study is also useful in drug designing and synthesis of new compounds with enhanced biological properties. Hence, the binding of harmine with sequence specific DNA oligonucleotides has been studied using various biophysical techniques i.e. absorption, fluorescence and molecular docking techniques. UV absorption study, Fluorescence quenching and Iodide quenching experiments revealed intercalation type of binding of harmine with short sequence specific DNA oligonucleotides. Fluorescence and absorption studies also concluded binding constants of harmine with GC rich DNA sequence in the order of 105 M-1 while with AT rich sequences it was in the order of 103 M-1 which clearly indicated that harmine showed greater intercalation with GC rich sequences as compared to AT rich sequences. From thermodynamic studies, it was concluded that harmine-DNA complex formation was spontaneous, exothermic and energetically favorable process. Molecular docking studies confirmed that harmine intercalates between the base pairs of DNA structure but energetically prefers intercalation between GC base pairs. Molecular docking studies and the calculated thermodynamic parameters, i.e. Gibbs free energy (ΔG), Enthalpy change (ΔH) and Entropy change (ΔS) indicated that H-bonds, van der Waals interactions and hydrophobic interactions play a major role in the binding of harmine to DNA oligomers.
Waste water discharged from textile and dye industry causes serious environmental hazards. Many physical and chemical methods have been used to treat the waste water but unfortunately because of the high operating costs suitable alternative will be required. Therefore, present study deal with use of biological organism with potential bioremediation, which lead to the production of cost effective and nontoxic methods. In that view, present study was conducted on effluent discharge collected from textile industries of Bhilwara, Rajasthan-India. Our objective to examine potential biological strains isolated from untreated effluents discharged from textile industries in Banas river, Bhilwara Rajasthan. India. Based on the results obtained from morphological, biochemical and molecular datasets present investigation identified potential bacterial strains belonging to species Bacillus cereus, Exiguobacterium sp and Acinetobacter sp. All selected bacterial isolates showed decolourization of the dye effluent. Thus, present study reveals that textile effluents consisting of potential bacteria that utilize the dyes as the source of energy and exhibit the property of treating of industrial effluents.
Many facets of the early biosphere preserved in the Proterozoic and Early Cambrian successions, recorded during 2011-2015, are reviewed.Recent advancements made in the Precambrian palaeobiology and newer steps recognized in the organismal evolution in the global perspective vis-a-vis significance of Indian records are discussed.The palaeobiological evidence reported from India are chronicled and grouped under seven categories: MISS (Microbially Induced Sedimentary Structure) & stromatolites, acritarchs, OWM (Organic Walled Microfossils), carbonaceous remains, trace-fossils & Ediacaran fossils, stable isotope studies and organic geochemistry.Present article is a continuum of Sharma et al. (2012), provides the status of Precambrian palaeobiological studies in the country, enumerates the importance of Indian records, and enlist unsolved problems and future research directions.
A compact printed wideband antenna with circular polarization is analyzed in this work. A basic structure of rectangular monopole is converted into a trapezoidal shape with tapered step ground. Different iterations of radiating element as well as defected ground structures are examined in this work to analyze the circular polarization characteristics of the antenna. A peak realized gain of 4.3dB and peak directivity of 3.8dB is attained from the current designed models. The design models are simulated on HFSS tool and the optimized dimensions are prototyped on FR4 substrate for measurement validation. By incorporating Split ring resonator (SRR) notch band characteristics are attained in the proposed wideband antenna.

The identification of snow avalanche release areas is a very difficult task. The release mechanism of snow avalanches depends on many different terrain, meteorological, snowpack and triggering parameters and their interactions, which are very difficult to assess. In many alpine regions such as the Indian Himalaya, nearly no information on avalanche release areas exists mainly due to the very rough and poorly accessible terrain, the vast size of the region and the lack of avalanche records. However avalanche release information is urgently required for numerical simulation of avalanche events to plan mitigation measures, for hazard mapping and to secure important roads. The Rohtang tunnel access road near Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India, is such an example. By far the most reliable way to identify avalanche release areas is using historic avalanche records and field investigations accomplished by avalanche experts in the formation zones. But both methods are not feasible for this area due to the rough terrain, its vast extent and lack of time. Therefore, we develop an operational, easy-to-use automated potential release area (PRA) detection tool in Python/ArcGIS which uses high spatial resolution digital elevation models (DEMs) and forest cover information derived from airborne remote sensing instruments as input. Such instruments can acquire spatially continuous data even over inaccessible terrain and cover large areas. We validate our tool using a database of historic avalanches acquired over 56 yr in the neighborhood of Davos, Switzerland, and apply this method for the avalanche tracks along the Rohtang tunnel access road. This tool, used by avalanche experts, delivers valuable input to identify focus areas for more-detailed investigations on avalanche release areas in remote regions such as the Indian Himalaya and is a precondition for large-scale avalanche hazard mapping.
