The academic paper aims to explore the possibility of industrial region development reorienting based on alternative terms using unique resources. The primary purposes of the study are to analyse the availability, status, and level of competition and competitive advantages in the market of unique resources. The main methods applied in the article are analysis and, in particular, SWOT analysis, comparison, and generalisation, which have been used to achieve the aim and primary purposes outlined. The study’s main findings confirm that the industrial region’s essential unique resources could be multifaceted tourist resources, particularly geographical location, favourable climate, historical or other attractiveness, environmental friendliness, safety, and more. Based on the concept of the national diamond of M. Porter, possible unique tourist resources, which are the development factors of the market of tourist services in a typical industrial region, have been identified. Based on the concept of driving forces, favourable factors influencing the development of the region’s market of tourist services in the postwar period, such as shifting consumer preferences, innovation promotion technics, etc., have been established in the study. The results of the study suggest that unique resources belonging to the strengths of the industrial region in combination with other strengths can reinforce regional development opportunities and reduce the weaknesses.
The development of the state depends on the development of youth. Young people, as the most active and mobile group, always support the reform of the social and political system in the state, quickly react to problems and implement the necessary changes. The possibility of young people to set up any needs forms prospects for the life of the state. Therefore, the necessary task of strategic development of Ukraine, as any country, is implementation and realization of high-quality, clear and grounded national state policy confirm urgency of the chosen theme. The object of the study is the analysis of the state and prospects of youth policy development in Ukraine. The subject of the study is the theoretical and practical aspects of ensuring the qualitative and effective development of youth policy. The purpose of the study is to identify the problems of formation and search for prospects for the development of youth policy in Ukraine. When writing the work, the works of domestic and foreign authors were studied in relation to the essence, problems and improvement of youth policy. The regulatory and legal framework was also considered, in particular: the laws of Ukraine, the National Youth Strategy and the Regional Program «Youth of Lviv Region», internet resources, mass media, websites of the Department of Youth and Sports of the State Regional Government of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. In the course of the study, a detailed analysis of the situation of youth and the state of formation and implementation of youth policy in Ukraine in general and in the Lviv region was carried out. The result of this analysis was the identification of positive and negative trends in the field of work with youth, the search for strengths and weaknesses in the implementation of policy in the Lviv region, as well as the establishment of prospects for the development of youth policy. In particular, the main problems identified during the research are: the lack of a clear target audience due to the too wide age range of «youth», unification in certain areas of youth and family policy, paternalistic character, weak regional interaction and low level of integration of youth to the implementation of youth policy and the imperfection of legal regulation. The results of the work include: analysis of the main indicators of the state and prospects for the development of youth policy (in Ukraine and Lviv region); detailed analysis of the problems of formation and development of youth policy (in Ukraine and Lviv region); the results of the youth survey regarding the current state of youth policy implementation in the territory of Lviv region.
Tourism is one of the most promising sectors of the economy, which is developing dynamically and contributes to improving the economic well-being of states. International tourism is a factor of economic growth, because due to the constant increase in the number of tourist destinations intensifies socio-economic progress (creation of new jobs, enterprises, growth of export revenues, infrastructure development). Before the pandemic, international tourism revenues on the world market showed higher growth rates than exports of goods, and thus the importance of responsibility to ensure effective management of tourist destinations in both developed and developing countries, which would minimize any side effects from tourism. International tourism management based on the sustainable development has become a global trend that needs to be ensured through the growth of qualitative rather than quantitative indicators. The principles of sustainable development provide the absolute consideration of current and future economic, social and environmental impacts from tourism, meeting the needs of visitors, industry, the environment and host communities. Guidelines and management methods based on sustainable development can be applied to all forms of tourism in all directions, from mass to various segments of niche tourism. The principles of sustainable development address the environmental, economic and socio-cultural aspects of tourism development, and an appropriate balance must be struck between these three dimensions to ensure its long-term sustainability. International tourism management based on sustainable development involves the optimal use of environmental resources, respect for the socio-cultural authenticity of the host communities, preservation of cultural heritage, traditional values, promotion of intercultural understanding and tolerance,and ensuring viable long-term economic activity, providing equitable socio-economic benefits to all stakeholders, including stable employment and income and social services for host communities, and helping to overcome poverty.
The article describes the competitive policy of the enterprise as a policy aiming at internal and external environment. The subject of competition policy and the main objects are identified, including competitors (current and potential), suppliers, consumers and public authorities. It is established that the means to influence the objects of competition policy are chosen by enterprises during public-private interaction. It is determined that public-private interaction should be understood as the relationship of enterprises and other economic entities with the authorities, administrative and economic management and control, local governments and other public entities, in the needed economic activity. It is established that broad understanding of "enterprise competition policy" concept means a policy aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of enterprises, achieving competitive advantage, while developing and protecting competition, the ability to influence the behavior of other market participants. The purpose of the implementation of competition policy by enterprises is to ensure the competitive development of enterprises, which is used to each object of competition policy. An enterprise that implements competition policy not only protects and develops competition in the markets, but also receives its own advantages that arise as the competitive relations’ participants’ motivation to competitive behavior. It was found that only some companies consider that competitive behavior is either a part of business reputation on the market, or ethics of interaction with consumers, suppliers and competitors, and are aware of the risks that may occur in the case of divergence from competitive development. It is determined that enterprises prefer to implement competition policy when trying to build their own business reputation with the help of competitive and conscientious means, by minimizing the risk of losing their position due to illegal competition in the market. The formation and implementation of competition policy, aimed at both internal and external environment of the company, provides an opportunity to maintain and develop existing competition in the markets, thereby ensuring the effect of competition laws in the markets. Enterprises can choose the means of influencing various objects of competition policy when interacting with the public sphere.
Globalization is one of the important elements of external environment of the enterprises, that is why it is defined to be the main object of this study. The main signs of globalization in international trade and the qualitative / quantitative changes caused are studied, in particular, attention is paid to the mutual exchange of resources to solve international problems, including environmental ones. The transformation of competitive / monopoly relations under the influence of globalization in the areas of levels of cooperation, the ratio of competition / rivalry, the dependence of competition on innovation, models of competitive behavior are analyzed. The impact of globalization on economic processes of influences redistribution in the markets between residents and nonresidents is investigated, the factors that cause changes in investment activity of nonresidents are identified, namely the direct relationship between changes in the index of economic globalization and the number of foreign enterprises in Ukraine. Based on the research, the identified exogenous factors are complemented by such factors as protection of intellectual property rights and prevention of abuse of intellectual property rights, and endogenous - as a relationship of decisive influence on businesses in specific markets, management awareness of the impact of their transactions on the market and others. It is concluded that globalization does not take into account the national characteristics of individual economies, the resource potential of development, but involves the use of existing benefits, respectively, those who want to become part of it must acquire certain exclusivity, disseminate relevant information, introduce innovation in enterprise management systems, show interest in cooperation with the relevant participant for the development of digitalization, social and economic transformations.
The article proposes the model of the influence of the environment instability on organizational flexibility and performance of the enterprise and empirical testing of it based upon four main assumptions, due to which the interconnection among uncertainty, dynamics and complexity of external economic environment and enterprise's flexibility is proved; the influence of organizational flexibility on the performance of the enterprise is stated; the basis for resource parameters of flexibility is determined; main factors of reaching high level of performance by the enterprise are discovered.

The article proposes the model of the influence of the environment instability on organizational flexibility and performance of the enterprise. The empirical testing of the model is based upon three main assumptions. The interconnection among uncertainty, dynamics and complexity of external economic environment and enterprise’s flexibility is proved. The influence of organizational flexibility on the performance of the enterprise is stated. The basis for resource parameters of flexibility is determined.
Global economic, social, demographic, scientific and technological changes influence the pension systems. Despite that current problems of Ukrainian pension system aren't as deep as in some countries of East Asia and the Pacific region, India, several Latin America's countries and Albania, Ukraine faces the need of pension system's reforming. In this case, by the authors' opinion, Ukraine has to focus on leading European countries' experience. That's why, the aim of the article is to consider advantages and disadvantages of pension systems of Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and Poland, to analyze the needs of Ukrainian pension system's reforming in current changing conditions, to discover its main problems and find the best possible ways of their solution, according to existing European experience. The article contains of introduction, three main chapters, in which history and current state of pension systems' development are analyzed, several leading European pension systems are discussed, and Ukrainian pension system model is researched, and conclusion.
