This paper used the functional evaluation model to measure the agricultural multi-functionality of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2020,and used ESDA spatial exploratory method to investigate the evolution characteristics of the spatiotemporal pattern.On this basis, this paper used the dynamic panel model to explore its innovation driving factors.The results showed that:(1)The multi-functional development index of agriculture was increasing, among which the supply of agricultural products, economic development and social service functions were in a “ladder " decreasing trend, the ecological conservation function was in a “ring" decreasing trend, and the cultural inheritance and leisure experience functions were in a “North-South high, Middle low " and “South high and North low" respectively.(2)The distribution of agricultural multi-functional areas showed significant spatial autocorrelation, mainly H-H type and L-L type.(3)The innovation of technology, market, main body, system and other dimensions had a significant positive driving effect on the development of agricultural multi-function, but there were differences in the direction of each dimension on agricultural functions.
