A 2.6MN four claws crabs made of 25Cr2Ni4MoV has been designed.Based on the calculation of mechanics of materials,the max.sectional combined stress of the crabs is 2563 Mpa,the No.4 strength equivalent stress calculated with finite element is 258.3 Mpa,which are all less than the designed allowable stress.In this case it is shown that the designed four claws crabs is satisfied with the strength requirement.

This article has described the design process for upgrading the rotating Table.of 125MN hydraulic press from the capacity of 120t to 300t.
