Antimicrobial activity of the extract from Euphorbia hirta was investigated.The results show the extract could has obviously inhibit microbials.The antimicrobial minimum dosages(volume fraction) to different microbials were 0.078% for Bucillrs subtilus;0.156% for Escherichiu coli,Staphylococcus arueua,and Bacthuringiensis,0.625% for Rhizopus and Mucor,0.313% for Aspergillus;and 1.25% for Sacchharomyces cererisiae.The antimicrobial activity exhibited dosage-dependant character,and also increased with time.Thermal promotion effect was also found.
