Databases play more and more important role in the information society.In every part of life, for example industry, government or education, it is extremely important that data can be stored as efficiently as possible, and queries run as fast as possible.In this article, we summarize the results of the efficiency test performed on the Microsoft SQL Server 2016 database management system for the field of queries.We examine in what way and what large the efficiency methods increase the efficiency of queries.In this paper, we discuss how the various proposed techniques and methods influence the efficiencyin the terms of execution time, CPU and memory, and how the efficiency indicators change due to the increasing number of records.We shed light on the efficiency issues of SQL queries: what large efficiency gains the variety of query optimization techniques cause depending on the stored data type and the number of records.
Alien ALH-9010 is a PDA built on the Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and equipped with a full featured 900 MHZ RFID tag reader.It is able to do inventory of, selectively read from, and write to tags which support the EPC Class 1 Generation 2 protocol.The demo software developed by the producer suggests that this handheld enables users to deploy different inventory software for making inventory work faster and cost-effective.Can this PDA be usable for purposes other than inventory and automatic identification?In this paper we demonstrate the way of developing .NET software that enables this handheld to be able to read any data including temperature data from any semi-passive temperature sensor tag working in UHF range, such as CAEN 927Z or CAEN Easy2Log if they support EPC Gen2 protocol.Using the developed software any data from any sensor tag can be read if knowledge of their storage protocol is provided.
In this article we are dealing with the connections between nowadays most dynamically improving automatic identification-related RFID technology and cryptographic algorithms. You are going to be introduced to the possibility of attacks against RFID systems and the ways to defeat them. We are also dwelling on the suitable and non-suitable cryptographic algorithms among the well known and frequently used ones. The type of the RFID tag highly influences the group of the suitable algorithms. The size of the tag’s integrated memory matters a lot, as well as the fact that it uses its own intelligence or we are working with a cheap passive tag.
Wireless sensor networks consist of numerous mainly low-cost sensors. These systems main purpose is to collect environmental data and transmit those measurements. Each sensor can communicate through broadcasting to other sensors in their broadcasting range. There are several requirements that a wireless sensor network should satisfy. One of the most important question is whether communication among all the sensor nodes is possible. In this paper we introduce two logical models that are suitable to represent wireless sensor networks. We generate SAT problems from the network communication model and the restrictions defining expected behavior, which are then analyzed with SAT solvers. The SAT solvers are used for model inspection. Whereby if a requirement is fulfilled, the SAT solver cannot find a substitution value for the function, otherwise the substitution value produced by the SAT solver appoints a counterexample. Current modern SAT solvers are capable to examine the satisfiability of SAT problems having thousands of variables, thus being able to decide even in huge sensor networks that the model fulfills the defined requirements (the degree of fault tolerance or power consumption, etc.)
The RF mesh network, deployed with IQRF mesh network devices, works in the 868 and 916 MHz frequency band and it allows the operation of 65000 devices per network. Our own nodes, named exNode, have been developed and in them the IQRF unit is responsible for the communication. This is complemented with a sensor-line or more precisely an UHF RFID interface that is intended to possess a self-designed protocol that enables the nodes to be located by an UHF RFID reader. If some segments of the sensor network are still connected it is possible to read the measurement data of the subgraph nodes through only one node. In this article, it is expounded how a software for a handheld RFID reader that can change the settings of and read and interpret data of the sensor nodes even with different types of sensors, can be developed.

During this is long process goods can get lost or stolen. Regulations referring to most of the products in the EU are making manufactures less responsible for their products. That’s why the importance of traceability is increasing – which could be the best field of using RFID. During the manufacturing process the product’s way can be followed, technological orders, phases of the production, and people who took part in the production can be registered as well as any other details. This savings then can be turned into material benefits in a lot of aspects. So it is quiet important to be able to protect own system from unauthorized intruders. We should get to know the possible ways of attacks.
In this article we would like to introduce you to the educational structure of the program design and informatics course at the Eszterhazy Karoly College. We will also mention the new fields of RFID system usage and the importance of this system in winning a spectacular tender. Furthermore you will get some details about the extra competencies our students gain by taking part in the RFID project. In order to familiarize them with the appliances and their features used in the RFID technology we have established a lab which serves more functions. First of all we find essential for students to take part in tender-related projects. Moreover, it is also important for our students to get the chance of learning the technology, using the appliances in practice, and examining them while they are working.The lab is continuously being updated with gadgets, this way students get the opportunity of taking parts in group or individual projects beside their "guided tour" and the theoretical class.
A cikkben bemutatjuk az Eszterházy Károly F?iskolán megalakult Regionális Tudásközpontban kutatott és kialakított EgerFood élelmiszer-biztonsági nyomkövet? rendszert. A felhasznált informatikai megoldásokat már bemutattuk egy-egy konferencián. Ebben a cikkben áttekintjük az informatikai rendszert, annak feladatait és eredményeit, azzal a céllal, hogy hasonló nyomkövetési rendszerek példaként tudják használni. Az EgerFood rendszer célja egy olyan fogyasztó-központú rendszer kiépítése, mely gyors és költséghatékony információhoz juttatja a fogyasztókat, az élelmiszer termel?ket és az érintett hatóságokat egy-egy élelmiszerr?l, mindezt magas fokú adatbiztonság garantálása mellett. A kialakított információs rendszer már a projektben résztvev? cégek telephelyein is minimum kétréteg? architektúra, ami VPN kapcsolaton keresztül kapcsolódik a központi kommunikációs szerveren keresztül a központi adattárházhoz. Bemutatjuk, hogy az adatok keletkezési helyét?l kiindulva, hogyan biztosítjuk a megfelel? szint? titkosítást és adatbiztonságot a helyi puffer-szerverekig, majd onnan a kommunikációs szerveren keresztül az adattárházig. Az adatok feltöltése mellett biztosítottuk az adat visszakeresés biztonságát is.
In this article we present the background of the food safety tracking system of Regional Knowledge Center (EGERFOOD), which can be found in Eger, Hungary at the Eszterházy Károly College. We analyze its requirements for the underlying information system. To build a user friendly system, which serves quickly and cost effectively the costumers, the providers, and the effected authorities by information, is a complex task. Furthermore, the system has to fulfill the strict requirements which one put up for data-safety and encryption in case of a tracking system. We considered also these ones by setting up the EGERFOOD database model.
We present in this article the background of a developed food safety tracking system searched and formed in the Regional Knowledge Centre of Eszterházy Károly College, the requirements following from this, and by way of the requirements towards the information system appearing expectations.The development of the consumer centre system is a complex task which provides fast and cost-effective information for consumers, food producers and concerned authorities.It accomplishes severe expectations of the tracking system in connection with data security and encryption beside all this.We demonstrate in this article that forming of database model why we chose the general model.We also demonstrate what kind of SQL server we chose for buffer servers and central data warehouse.We wish to support our choosing with the result of done efficiency examinations.It is important viewpoint what kind of database planning principles we base these examinations on and how we match them to the requirements of the system.As software engineers took part in the development effectively from the first minute of the planning of the system, we can examine with what this project work was able to raise students' qualification and knowledge in addition to the general curricular substance.

It is a fairly interesting and responsible challenge to discover how the computer could help to overcome difficulties and disadvantages which derive from handicap. On the other hand we present an international co-operation lasting for three years which prime goal was to construct a non-language-dependent software for handicapped children. In the article we introduce the institutions taking part in the development, the process of the program's creation, the steps to apply the program and the possibilities and methods of improvement.

This is a combination of the on"line curriculum"database and data processing software that cover the different subject domain at all age group. All elements of the created curriculum database suitable for the syllabus in each areas of the civilizing, it contains concrete instructions for the users, curriculum matter and recyclable curriculum elements for the teachers and the students, also. The contents are divided for elements, which elements belong to different subjects. It means that these elements are the corpus of the subjects on all civilizing areas. The users manage to create personal syllabus elements completing the corpus by central power with own elements, which can be used on the display of the system, or as an exported unit on others during the lessons. The SDT's aim is the on" line curriculum can be used as a multi"access datab ase more and more time. In this way becomes recycle and stable valued. In view of requirement of recycle the subject"matter of instruction need to be broken up into the smallest primary matter. These small objects are named as learning objects (LO). In this paper we summarize the experiences of the partial effectiveness examination made on the MSSQL server. We examined the effectiveness of the insert sample databases on the server. The client program was written in C++ language, in the Visual.NET system. We have done the examination of the data insert both from single--and multiclient environment. The examination contains insert options of the ADO.NET subsystem given by the .NET system - and insert options of stored procedures that were stored on the MSSQL server. These comparisons were extended with the analysis of the different network speed environments. Tests were made on high speed intranet and on Internet, ADSL (512 kbs), connection. We think that the profound and various examination of the database servers is very important. Here we relate test results that can be usable either in research in connection with database servers or in practical usage of the same systems.
Alpha-spectrometric method has been used for the determination of boron in borosilicate glasses. For irradiation thermal neutrons with a flux of about 105 n·cm−2·s−1, produced in a paraffin moderator surrounding a deuteron target of a small neutron generator, were used. Alpha-particles from the reaction10B(n, α) were detected by a Si solid state detector with a resolution of about 50 keV. The sensitivity of the method is 0.05 wt % boron in glass samples.
In this study we present the background of the food safety tracking system which works in the framework of the Regional Knowledge Center at the Eszterházy Károly College. We identify the requirements for the information system and draft the solution. To build a user friendly system, which serves quickly and cost effectively the costumers, the providers, and the effected authorities by information, is a complex task. Furthermore, the system has to fulfill the strict requirements which one puts up for data--safety and -encryption in case of a tracking system. The developed information system works at the partner companies of the project with an at least two layers architecture, which connects to the main server (and the central data warehouse) with VPN connection. We show the data flow from the source PC through the local buffer-server to the data warehouse in a highly encrypted and data-safe way. Beside upload we solved how to download safely data from the system. This includes the public interfaces, like the webpage and the WAP page of the project, and the private interfaces of the project members.
