Iron content in TMA,by FAAS and ICP-AES were described in the paper.Samples were ashed at 600 ℃ in an oven.Under the optimum conditions,the values of recovery of FAAS and ICP-AES were 94.6 % and 95.7 %,respectively.Two different samples results detected by ICP-AES were consistent with those detected by FAAS.
