With the development of globalization and multi-culture,the UK government actively takes measures to reform their citizen education and brings the global citizenship education into the national curriculum in order to cultivate young people's global awareness and skills.At the same time,the non-governmental organization is also very active to put global citizenship education into practice in the UK.This paper looks back to the development history of global citizenship education,and takes Connecting Classrooms of British Council as an example to analyze the implementation situation and challenges in the UK.
In recent years,the Global Citizenship Education has bee rising rapidly in the United States,which is an inevitable choice of citizen education under the process of globalization.It's also a positive action to adapt to the development of future society.This paper takes Lehigh University as an example to analyze its Global Citizenship Program,which will be helpful for the improvement of global citizenship education in Chinese research universities.
Taking the reed as the basic material,the reed woodceramic were prepared by reed and phenolic resin mixed in different ratios,and formed with high-pressure and high-temperture in mould and sintered in the vacuum.The effect of ratios of material and sintering temperature on reed woodceramic properties were analysed.The results showed that the mechanical properties of reed woodceramics were superior to those of other kinds of woodceramic.
The volatiles release behavior of reed powder was studied by TD-GC/MS online technique at different temperatures.The main beneficial components were 4.43 times and 5.13 times of harmful components in the volatiles of reed powder at 40℃ and 160℃,respectively,and the environmental friendliness was good.The main beneficial components took a higher proportion than that of harmful at 60℃ and 90℃,and the beneficial components were 2.45 times of harmful components at 90℃,while the environmental friendliness was well.With reed powder as substrate,wood powder-based composites were prepared by high-pressure no-gel molding compaction between the temperature of lignin softening point and wood materials carbonization(about 150—180℃),and that presented a satisfactory environmental friendliness.
The present development status of wood-ceramic composites is stated,the analysis of various kinds of ceramic manufacturing processes is made,the characteristics of various kinds of new wood-ceramic composite materials are described and the problems involved in the research on wood-ceramic composite materials as well as the development prospect of wood-ceramic composite materials are summarized.
