Four kinds of ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer(X-ETFE) insulating materials were prepared by irradiation crosslinking using existing technology,and their mechanical properties,dielectric property,melt index and heat-resistance were analyzed.The results show that the prepared X-ETFE insulating materials can meet the requirements of insulating properties in GJB 773A—2000.

Four types of X-ETFE insulated materials were processed into aircraft wires,and the wires were treated by irradiation crosslinking.The processability,mechanical properties and crosslinking-proof-test of the wires were studied.The results showed that the performances of aircraft wires met the requirements of the standards MIL-W-22759 and GJB 773A—2000.
