Victor conducts research in Materials Science and Additive Manufacturing (AM). Current research includes 'Wire Arc and Friction-Stir AM' , ‘Development of Waterjet Technology for Rifling’ and ‘Bore Coatings for Small Arms’. ‘Synthesis of Advanced AM Powders’, ‘Investigation of the effects of oxide on critical impact velocity’ and Solid State AM bonding mechanisms’. He is one of the world’s most foremost authority on cold spray and has co-edited a practical handbook on cold spray that was just published by Springer in May 2021.
