I am a second year PhD student at the Language Technologies Institute in Carnegie Mellon University. I am advised by Prof. Yulia Tsvetkov (also previously Prof. Jaime Carbonell). I completed my masters at LTI in 2019, advised by Prof. William Cohen. I’ve spent two amazing summers as a Research Intern with Google. I was hosted by Niki Parmar and Dr Ashish Vaswani at Google Brain in 2020 and by Dr William Cohen and Dr Michael Collins at Google AI in 2019. I work on building trustworthy and reliable NLP systems through interpretable model designs and comprehensive evaluations. I have worked on incorporating structure and interpretability in various downstream NLP tasks (classification, summarization, dialog systems).
