个人简介
During my PhD, I have used two-photon microscopy to study the effect of signaling molecules in the regulation of inhibitory presynaptic bouton dynamics in organotypic hippocampal slices. Our results provided new insights into the complex process of inhibitory synapse formation and may help us to better understand the onset of neurological disorders, such as autism.
Currently, I am interested in combining cellular and structural biology techniques to unravel the molecular mechanisms in the establishment of precise synaptic connections.
