Bio
I am a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School. The focus of my research is on investigating the immune mechanisms underlying inflammatory heart diseases, including Chagas cardiomyopathy. As part of my studies, I designed high-throughput assays using transcribed/translated cDNA encoding myocardial antigens that were precise enough to detect small changes in autoantibody levels in longitudinal sampling. The ultimate goal of my research is to improve the diagnosis of subclinical myocarditis.
