个人简介
I work on optical instrumentation for gravitational wave detectors. My current research line is scattered light metrology on component level for LISA space mission as part of the LISA Instrumentation Group. I have developed an optically balanced low coherence interferometric instrument, capable of measuring the angular and spectral dependence of light back-reflected from smooth optical surfaces. During my PhD, I worked on the development of squeezed light source for the quantum noise limited next generation of gravitational wave detectors such as LIGO-Virgo. During my M.Sc., I worked on all optical tuning of Whispering Gallery Modes (WGMs) in a Silicon microsphere for potential application in all optical communication systems. And I worked as team leader (Operations Engineer) in optical fiber based telecommunication company (Nayatel Pvt. Ltd.), where I worked on the deployment of optical fibers and related technology for telecommunication services.
