个人简介
I am an ecologist interested in how animals, respond, cope and adapt to anthropogenic habitat change, and in particular in the effects of artificial light at night in urban areas on the timing of behaviour and physiology. I combine tools and approaches from chronobiology and ecophysiology, from analysis of time-series of activity rhythms to clock gene expression, metabolomics and biotelemetry in the field. The overarching goal of my research is to unravel of how urbanisation affects biological time-keeping of animals, whether this comes with negative consequences, and what we can do about it.
