Uwe Schmidt

Uwe Schmidt received his Dipl.-Ing. degree (Master equivalent) in electrical power engineering from Ilmenau University of Technology, Germany, in 1998 and his Dr.-Ing. degree is from Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany in 2012. He worked as a research group leader at Dresden Univesity of Technology between 09.2012-01.2015. Currently, he is a professor at Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. His research interests are insulation coordination, neutral point treatment in distribution grids and integration of decentralized generation into power systems
