Developing research, education and projects around the theme of multi-hazard risk. Disasters such as tropical hurricanes often trigger a variety of hazardous processes (e.g. flooding, landslides, windthrow and storm surging). By improving our understanding of these processes, informed decisions can be made to reduce the damage of natural disasters.
