个人简介
Asli Aybike Dogan started her academic journey in her hometown Izmir, Turkey, with a BSc and an MSc degree in Bioengineering at Ege University She gained professional experiences for >9 years during undergraduate internships, graduate, and finally, post-graduate research activities at national and international research laboratories. As a part of the OrganoVIR Marie Curie ITN-ETN program, she performed her PhD project on developing 3D stereolithographic (SLA) printed dynamic cell culture device prototypes with extracellular matrix mimetic hydrogels for in vitro intestinal and endothelial tissue modeling at DTU Health Tech, Denmark. Currently, she is an industrial postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Heart and Skeletal Muscle Biology, Novo Nordisk to develop 3D-bioprinted skeletal muscle tissue models that is to study insulin resistance and Type-2 diabetes metabolism.
Experiences
• Bioprinting and biofabrication of scaffolds and fluidic devices (via 3D stereolithographic (SLA) printing, photolithography, electrospinning)
• Handling of biomaterials (HAp, hydrogels (peptide-based, photocrosslinkable), natural polymers (Silk Fibroin, Agarose, Alginate, Gelatin, Collagen, Matrigel), synthetic polymers (PEEK, PEG, PVA, PEO), conductive/magnetic nanomaterials (iron oxide nanoparticles, pyrolyzed carbon, graphene oxide)
