Bio
Daniel E. Gaona (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering and the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the San Francisco de Quito University, Quito, Ecuador, in 2013 and 2014, respectively. He received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Erasmus Mundus Master Course (EMMC) Consortium in 2016. He is currently working toward the Ph.D. degree in engineering with University of Cambridge.
He was with the Department of Power Electronics and Electrical Drives, University of Paderborn, Germany, as a Research Associate. In 2018, he joined the University of Cambridge. His research interests include electric drives, power electronics, and wireless charging systems.
