•Major scientific interest of Zoran Markovic is exploitation of optical properties of carbon nanomaterials (fullerene, carbon nanotube, graphene, carbon quantum dots) and polymer composites for nanomedical applications-photodynamic or photothermal therapy of microbes and viruses.
