Taewoo Kim (Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in nuclear engineering from Kyung Hee University, Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, in 1999 and 2001, respectively, and the M.B.A. degree from Ajou University, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, in 2012.
He joined the Vatech Institute of Technology, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, in 2001, where has served as the Head of the Vatech Central Research Institute until 2017. He has been serving as the CEO of Rayence, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do, since 2018, and the Executive Managing Director of the Technology Strategy Division, VatechEwoo Holdings, Hwaseong, since 2022. His current research interests are IGZO TFT and CMOS X-ray detectors for various applications.
