个人简介
I am an educational psychologist with research interests in achievement motivation, equity in education, and advanced methodology. I aim to understand how various motivational beliefs such as perceptions of ability shape underrepresented minority students’ academic achievement and persistence. I am particularly interested in unraveling the socio-cultural factors that undermine underrepresented minorities' achievement and persistence. Additionally, I collaborate with social psychologists to depict a more comprehensive picture of the socio-cultural factors that affect students of color on a day-to-day basis. I have a strong passion for research methodology and advanced statistical analyses and have taught graduate and undergraduate statistics courses over the years.
