个人简介
Amar R. Marathe received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering
and computer sciences from the University of California Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2001, and the M.S. and Ph.D.
degrees in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA, in 2008 and 2011,
respectively.
After completion of his Ph.D., he worked in the Brain Machine Interfaces Laboratory, Cleveland Clinic, as both a
Postdoctoral Research Fellow and a Senior Principal Research Engineer. He joined the United States Army Research
Laboratory (ARL), Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, USA, in May 2012, where he has worked on using modern machine learning
approaches to characterize and quantify human variability in the context of brain–computer interaction
technologies and human-autonomy systems. He served as a Technical Area Lead for developing the “Privileged
Sensing Framework,” a novel approach to human-autonomy integration, which was funded through the Office of the
Secretary of Defense's Autonomy Research Pilot Initiative program. His research interests include modern machine
learning approaches to characterize and quantify human variability.
