Bio
A. K. Shah received the M.B.B.S. degree from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad, India, in 1987.
He completed Internal Medicine Internship at the Interfaith Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, in 1989; followed by 3 years of Neurology Residency and a year of Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. in 1994, he joined the Department of Neurology, Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, where he is currently a Professor. He is the Director of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at Detroit Medical Center, where he also serves as the Chief of Neurology, Harper University Hospital, Detroit. His clinical and research interests include study of patients with pharmacoresistant epilepsy, and processing of intracranial EEG signals recorded during invasive EEG monitoring as they relate to neuroimaging and clinical features.
