个人简介
Abigail Konopasky received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from Princeton University in 2001. After completing a Mellon Postdoctoral Fellowship at Duke University, she went on to a faculty position in linguistics in the English Department at the University of New Orleans. Her research interests in linguistic analysis and access to educational resources led her to a Presidential Scholarship at George Mason University College of Education and Human Development where she is currently a doctoral candidate in educational psychology and research methods. Her research interests include discourse analysis, narrative analysis, learners’ perceptions of agency, and cultural models of the classroom. She is currently exploring the construct of learner agency in two different spaces in the same urban community: an adult secondary education program and a youth makerspace.
