Ahmed M. Abdulkhaleq (Member, IEEE) was born in Mosul, Iraq, in 1988. He received the B.Sc. degree (First-Class Ranking) in communications engineering from the University of Mosul, Iraq, in 2009, the M.Sc. degree (with Distinction) from the University of Bradford, U.K., in 2013, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Bradford, U.K., in 2020. From 2010 to 2011, he worked as an Engineer with the college of Electronics, University of Mosul. From 2011 to 2013, he received a scholarship from the Higher Committee for Education Development in Iraq to complete his master’s degree. From 2013 to 2017, he worked as a Lecturer with the University of Nineveh, Iraq. From 2018 to 2020, he was appointed as an Early-Stage Researcher of Secure Network Coding for Reduced Energy Next Generation Mobile Small Cells (SECRET) Project. This project is part of the Horizon 2020 Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions funded by the European Union. He is currently an RF/Microwave Engineer with SARAS technology, Leeds, U.K. He has authored and coauthored many international journal and conference papers. His research interests include energy-efficient RF power amplifiers, digital signal processing, filters, antenna array processing and reconfigurable transceivers. He was also a recipient and a co-recipient of various awards for research publications.
