个人简介
Almuatasim Alomari (M’18) was born in Irbid, Jordan, in 1985. He received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Yarmouk University, Irbid, in 2007, the M.Sc. degree in physics from the Jordan University of Science and Technology, Irbid, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Alabama A&M University, Huntsville, AL, USA, in 2016. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), Huntsville, AL, USA.
He was as an Adjunct Professor with Alabama A&M University for a year and a half. He has authored or coauthored more than 25 publications, including a book Power Harvesting Via Smart Materials (Bellingham, Washington: SPIE, 2017), book chapters, proceedings, and a review article. His current research interests include dielectrics, piezoelectric materials and composites, magnetic properties of nanoparticles, liquid crystals (LCs), and smart systems.
Dr. Alomari is also affiliated with scientific societies such as American Physical Society (APS), International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE), and Optical Society of America (OSA).
