个人简介
Prof. Brahim BENHAMOU holds a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (thermo-fluid) from the University of Sherbrooke, Canada. He is currently a full professor at the department of physics, of the Faculty of Sciences, Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech, Morocco. His research is focused on Heat and Mass Transfer (HMT), Energy Efficiency (EE) and the coupling of Solar Thermal Energy with Desalination Systems. He is the coordinator of or has participated in several national and international funded projects on Desalination, Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency especially in Buildings. He authored/co-authored one chapter in the Book ‘Mass Transfer in Multiphase Systems and its Applications’ (ISBN 978-953-307-215-9, 2011) and over 80 peer-reviewed article and conference papers. He is currently a member of editorial boards of two international journals and reviewer for more than 8 international scientific journals. He is the responsible of the “Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency Laboratory” (EnR2E) at the National Center for Studies and Research on Water and Energy (CNEREE) affiliated to Cadi Ayyad University of Marrakech. He is the Secretary General of the Moroccan Association of Thermal Sciences (AMT) since April, 2008. He contributed to the organization of several scientific meetings, conferences and workshops on HMT, RE and EE.
