个人简介
BSc in Marine Biology in 2009 (FCUL, Portugal)
MSc in Marine Ecology 2011 (FCUL and MUNHAC, Portugal)
PhD in Marine Biology and Aquaculture 2018 (FCUL, FCT-NOVA, Portugal; CEBIMAR-USP, Brazil; Eawag, Switzerland)
I am currently a CEEC-FCT researcher, working on the topic "Ecophysiological plasticity of marine fauna in temperate and tropical coastal wetlands: A systems biology approach to predict the consequences of extreme climatic events". I was recently awarded my first two research projects as PI (ExtremeOceans, funded by FCT and AQUATROPHYS funded by FCT Portugal and DAAD Germany), and also my first as co-PI of the portuguese team in Biodiversa ERANET Co-funded European project (EASMO). I am also currently collaborating in three other national projects (LifeLines, WormALL and MARVEN, funded by FCT and Fundo Azul) and in another two transnational projects (PORTWIMS, and SeaSenseX). My main research interests are focused on unravelling patterns and processes of evolutionary physiology in marine organisms under climate change. Along my academic career, I had 4 funded schoolarships, 6 research grants, 3 projects as leader, and an award for best PhD in Marine and Earth Sciences from FCUL; 26 published research papers (1.72 < IF < 15.46; H-index = 15; over 600 citations and over 35 co-authors from more than 25 institutions), 2 published theses, 8 conference papers, 1 book chapter, 2 magazine outreach articles, 30 posters & 23 oral communications in national and international congresses and participation in 15 research projects. I have also supervised 5 BSc internships and 5 MSc theses.
