Cassio Santana Meira

Bruna dos Reis, graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in June 2022. During her degree, she performed mobility at the University of Porto - Abel Salazar Institute of Biomedical Sciences in the Integrated Master in Veterinary Medicine (2018.2-2019.1 ). She did an internship at the Tissue Engineering and Immunopharmacology Laboratory (LETI-FIOCRUZ) and at SENAI CIMATEC-ISI, working with mesenchymal stromal cells and cancer cell lines, obtaining experience and scientific publications. She was a Scientific Initiation Scholar (CNPq) at LETI - FIOCRUZ, where she developed her undergraduate thesis creating a biorepository from the reprogramming of human urinary tract epithelial cells into induced pluripotent stem cells. She is currently a Master's student in Molecular Bioengineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) and is part of the Laboratory Animal Science group at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3s).
