个人简介
Douglas M. Logan: Doug Logan has 30 years of experience in the energy industry and is a Vice President of Power Cost, Inc. He. is a recognized expert in market design and settlement, wholesale power market analysis and forecasting, resource planning, reliability analysis, and decision analysis. Dr. Logan is currently working with market participants in CAISO, ERCOT, MISO, PJM, and SPP, to build the IT infrastructure to automate their ISO/RTO market and settlement workflow. His previous employers include Pacific Gas and Electric Co., RCG/Hagler Bailly, Resource Data International, and Financial Times Energy. He has a BSE from Walla Walla College and a PhD in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University, and is a registered Professional Engineer. He has been chair of the IEEE PES Policy Development Committee since 2004 and was active for many years in the Risk, Reliability and Probabilistic Analysis SC.
