个人简介
Daniel Pérez-López received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. He has spent his academic life on the creation, development of a programmable photonics: such as, giving to large-scale photonic integrated circuits flexibility through run-time software programming. His career started with his Ph.D. and a two-year Postdoc research with the Photonics Research Lab, Universitat Politècnica de València (UPVLC), Valencia, Spain, where he investigated novel photonic integrated circuit designs and architectures that can be reconfigured to perform multipurpose functionalities. These works led to the 2017 Graduate Student Fellowship by the IEEE Photonics Society and 2018 Extraordinary Ph.D. Thesis Award from UPVLC. During 2019–2020, he wwas with Xanadu Quantum Computing, Toronto, ON, Canada, and founded iPronics Programmable Photonics S.L., Valencia, Spain. Between 2019 and 2021, he received the prestigious Juan de la Cierva Fellowship grants that allowed him to initiate his research on high-dense large-scale programmable photonic integrated circuits and its applications to signal processing and computing. In 2019, initiated his CTO position at iPronics Programmable Photonics S.L, awarded with the Nature Spin-off Award in 2020.
