个人简介
Professor David Low is a Professor in the Business Faculty at CDU. Previously he was the Dean of the Asia Pacific College of Business and Law at CDU.
Professor David Low was the Dean of the College of Business, Law and Governance at James Cook University until June 2018.
David holds a Doctorate in Marketing and Management, and is a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors as well as a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants. He is also a CPA.
He has a wide variety of both industry and academic management and boardroom experience. Prior to commencing at JCU David was Head of School for the School of Marketing at the University of Western Sydney a position he held for 5 years.
David has also held a number of directorships in Sydney including Chair of the Riverside Theatres Advisory board and President of the Western Sydney Business Connection – both are organizations operating in Western Sydney both organizations were part of the business community served by UWS.
David’s research interests include Cross Cultural Issues; Country of Origin Studies; Ethnicity, Market Orientation, Firm Performance, E-Marketing; Innovation, SME’s and the use of technology in business value chains. David has just co-edited a book on E-Novation and Web 2.0.
Prior to joining academia David gained extensive experience in industries as diverse as Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Services, Entertainment, Construction and IT. Positions held included roles such as CFO, Channel/Product Manager and General Manager.
David held a number of community positions while located in North Queensland:

Townsville Chamber of Commerce: Board Member
Australian Institute of Company Directors: Townsville Committee Member
