2018 Teaching Excellence Award for Collaboration in Teaching, University of Auckland Business School. This award was for teamwork in the development of a programme aimed at inspiring and extending high-performing and highly motivated first-year undergraduate students. Students needed to apply and be selected. They then participated in an exciting real-world and team-based applied project where they would work with a client, contribute to society, learn by doing, and develop their professional capabilities.
2015 Teaching Excellence Award for Collaboration in Teaching, University of Auckland Business School. This award was in recognition of teamwork and leadership in the design, development, and delivery of the core two-course sequence of BUSINESS 101 and 102 that now lies at the centre of the Business School's first year curricula experience. These courses offer our undergraduate students an interdisciplinary introduction to the study and practice of business through a flipped classroom and team-based delivery model.
2010 Sustained Excellence in Teaching Award, University of Auckland Business School. This award was in recognition of sustained teaching excellence in the classroom over a fifteen year period, plus many related contributions to the teaching and learning environment both within the University of Auckland Business School and also more widely across the University of Auckland.
2002 University of Auckland Distinguished Teaching Award. This team award was in recognition of cross-Departmental collaboration with Dr. Peter Smith and Dr. Christine Woods to design and develop what would be the Business School's first truly integrated and interdisciplanary introduction-to-business courses within the first-year experience of the Bachelor of Business and Information Management degree programme.
1998 University of Auckland Distinguished Teaching Award. This award was in recognition of collaboration with Dr. Mark Colgate to acheive outstanding learning outcomes and sustained course development innovations within the Marketing Major's core “Marketing Management” course.
1994 The London Business School Alumni Prize. This annual award, based upon nominations from one's peers, recognises those who have had a direct and transformative impact on their peers, particularly within a programme which in this case was the London Business School PhD Programme.
