Eri Haneda (S'10) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 1997, the M.S. degree from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, in 2003, and is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue University. From 1997 to 2000, she worked for the Switching & Mobile Communication Department, NEC Company Ltd., Japan. Her research interests are in statistical image processing such as image segmentation, image restoration, and medical imaging.
