Research activities focused on the development of materials for a sustainable future and their integration into new concepts of energy conversion systems, specifically, using powder technology for the processing of nanostructured thermoelectric materials and of chalcogenide materials for thin film solar cells based on compounds containing abundant and ecological elements. Synthesis and characterisation of nanostructured Shape Memory Alloys (SMAs).
