Ghandy is a skilled civil engineering researcher and laboratory investigator with focus on eco-friendly alternatives to Portland cement. He has participated in several research studies and experimental campaigns on alkali activated pastes, mortars, and concrete. His PhD thesis focuses on producing a novel, cement-free based, and eco-friendly concrete mixture as a civil engineering contribution to the global environment. Industrial solid waste materials such as Municipal solid wastes incineration bottom ash, electric arc furnace slag, and waste glass rejects are being investigated as potential binders, to fully replace Portland cement. Besides, Ghandy is a multilingual academic and business writer with professional English writing skills, a confident research presenter with ability to explain complex information to audiences of all levels.
