个人简介
By designing new nanostructured materials tailor made to optimize catalytic reactions and with size and shape selectivity, we have an incredible opportunity to greatly improve current technologies for energy storage, energy conversion, catalysis, membrane separations, and beyond. My research is focused on designing such materials with a wide array of state-of-the-art synthesis and characterization techniques, from epitaxial growth of 2D van der Waals materials in ultrahigh vacuum, to synthesis of nanoporous alloy catalysts and electrochemical evaluation as H2 evolution and CO2 reduction catalysts, and even to studying metal air battery cathodes in situ with synchrotron radiation.
