Isn't is fascinating how atoms and molecules behave on surfaces? My key objective is to modify surfaces, particularly with plasma environments, to alter their properties to suit their given application (for example, for antibiofouling, corrosion protection, optically active coatings, sensors, etc). The combination of applied and fundamental science is the best approach for solving real-world surface science challenges.
