Jan Brase

I graduated in Mathematics at the university of Hannover in 1999 and received my doctoral degree in Computer Science in 2005. Since September 2006 I was coordinating the DOI registration agency at TIB. From December 2009 to December 2014 I was the managing director of DataCite which widens the DOI registration agency of TIB to a global consortium of libraries and information institutes. Since July 2015 I am head of the Research and Development at SUB Göttingen. I am furthermore president of the International Council for Scientific and Technical Information (ICSTI) and Co-Chair of the CODATA Task group on Data Citation. From 2009 to 2014 I was also chair of the International DOI Foundation (IDF), . In 2011 I received the German "Library Hi-Tech award".
